FOOD BANK IN KG SUNGAI BEDAUN LABUAN FEDERAL TERRITORY

Project Name : HUNGER DOES NOT WAIT

Synopsis : A Food Bank for 20 needy family

Reason : Due to the impact of Corona Virus pandemic, it affect many people's                                                   monthly income, even some had lost their jobs. 

Objective : 

1. Raise awareness towards citizens regarding donations for this charity campaign can be done easily through this mystartr.com platform.
    
2. Next, the objective of this crowdfunding campaign is to gain the trust of the pledgers in gaining donations for this charity campaign which is donation of necessities foods for the Kg. Sungai Bedaun.
    
3. In addition, through this charity campaign, our objective here is to channel the funds by the pledgers in helping the residents who are in need.
    
4. As an effort to support the malaysian government's campaign in the foodbank program through kpdnhep.

OUR PLANNING IN THIS PROJECT 

Our crowdfunding campaign aim to hold a charity fund for the needy residents of Kg. Sungai Bedaun. This campaign will raise funds for giving donations to 20 needy families of Kg Sungai Bedaun with buying them the basic foods needs. This project will be a huge impact and very helpful for those who have financial problems, especially the one who suffer in this Corona Virus pandemic. 

With use the amount from donation, we will buy them rice, bread, biscuits, cooking oil,wheat flour, sugar, Milo, eggs, and Nutrigen drinks. If funds raised from the crowdfunding platform does not reach the target set from the total expenses estimated, therefore, the donation for the foods will be reduced to a lower quality of products for the needy in Kg. Sungai Bedaun. However if the fund reach more than the targeted funds, the donation for 20 needy families can be increased based on the extra amount from donation.
 

Our project will take place in this Dewan Komuniti KG. Sungai Bedaun. This place is very convenient in this current pandamic which we need to maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) and this building capable 100 to 200 people.

Table 1 shows the expenses for one family while table 2 shows the summary expenses for this project. We estimate to get Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand, (RM2000) to succeed this project.

Collaborator with Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP)

Our team will collaborate with Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), Labuan Federal Territory as a collaborators to succeed  in this food bank project but they do not interfere in any of the funds.

• Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our team faced many challenges in terms of time and movement following the standard operation procedure.
• The success of this project will result in a solution to both above objectives, with 100% the funds raised and help us in buying all the products listed in table index 11.
• If funds raised from the crowdfunding platform does not reach the target set from the total expenses estimated, therefore, the donation for the rice, bread, biscuits, cooking oil,wheat flour, sugar, Milo, eggs, and Nutrigen drinks will be reduced to a lower quality of products for the Kg. Sungai Bedaun.
• However, if the fund reach more than the targeted funds, the donation for 20 families can be increased based on the extra amount from donation.
